Kontos Cellars
Inspired by their father, Cliff
Kontos of Fort Walla Walla Cellars, Cameron Kontos and his
brother Chris Kontos have opened Kontos Cellars on the "Incubator
Block" (Piper Avenue )
of the Port of Walla Walla Regional Airport complex.
The brothers combined their Greek-derived name with the Washington State official insect, the green darner dragonfly, because, as they planned their winery, the brothers noticed dragonflies landing on wine barrels and saw this as a great omen for Kontos Cellars.
