It has been almost a year to the day since we were last in Vegas. We planed this trip to get away from our year of rain. Much to our surprise it rained 3 of the 4 days we were there! Sitting by the pool as it rained in 98 degrees…
Our plan was simple this trip. Stay around mid Strip and visit old town Fremont Street and the Hofbräuhaus beer hall.

Like last year we stayed at the Flamingo and like last year it took an hour to check in. There has to be a better way. Our room was clean and we had a nice view of their habitat area. We enjoy the pool area, sometimes it may be difficult to find a place to sit, but be patient there are always people leaving.

The Fremont Street Experience is always a fun place to visit. Live bands every few blocks, over head light shows every hour after sunset, a new zip-line ride, many cartoon characters mingle with the crowed and deep fried Twinkies!
